Redding Youth Soccer provides a healthy activity through its recreational and small sided games programs. These programs emphasize FUN, and de-emphasize winning at all costs. Every child is guaranteed playing time and the game is taught in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere where EVERY coach is certified and licensed to be teaching this great sport.
For the player with advanced skills and greater ambition, highly competitive leagues are offered. This player might have his or her sights set on a college soccer scholarship or playing for the U. S. Olympic or National teams.
Redding Youth Soccer is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of Redding’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition. Our job is also to make it fun, and instill in young players a lifelong passion for the sport.
Board of Directors
Board meetings are normally scheduled on the first Monday of the month. Check our calendar for actual dates.
The Redding Youth Soccer League (hereinafter referred to as RYSL or League) shall have a Board of Directors consisting of 18 members including the president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary. The president, secretary and one half of the board members shall be elected to take office on January 1 of even-numbered years and the vice president, treasurer and one half of the board members shall be elected to take office on January 1 of odd-numbered years.
Members of this league shall nominate and elect at the AGM each year, officers and board members who shall serve for a period of two (2) years. Officers and board positions shall take office effective on January 1 following the AGM. The president and secretary shall be elected to take office on January 1 of the even numbered years. The vice president and treasurer shall be elected to take office on January 1 of odd-numbered years.

League Sponsorships
The Redding Youth Soccer League is looking for team and field sponsors for the Fall 2010 season. Sponsoring a team of your choice or a field is a great way to show support for children in the Redding area and promote your business at the same time! Please confirm your interest in sponsoring by emailing the RYSL sponsorship coordinator (sponsorships@reddingsoccer.com) no later than July 14, 2010. Forms for sponsoring a team and/or field that you can print, fill out, and mail to the sponsorship coordinator with your donation are below.
For the fall season, the suggested donation to sponsor a team is $200; discounts are available for sponsoring multiple teams. As a team sponsor you get your business name (or other name of your choice) printed on the back of each jersey for the sponsored team, your business name and contact information will be listed on RYSL’s website (www.reddingsoccer.com), and you will receive a team photo/plaque for display as a thank you from the team and league.
To sponsor a field for the first time, the suggested donation is $250; discounts are available if RYSL already has a banner with your logo on it. As a field sponsor, a banner with your business logo will be displayed on a goal during all RYSL games for the Fall 2010 season; your business name and contact information will also be listed on the RYSL website.
Don’t forget, all donations to RYSL are tax deductible. Sponsorship donations are used to keep registration costs low, offset fees for field usage, and to supply each child with a uniform and access to equipment.
