Programs
The Redding Youth Soccer League attempts to offer a full range of programs every year. While this is not always possible, owing to player and parent involvement, the programs are made available. The Division 1 and Division 3 levels require much more commitment and usually get started in the early spring for the upcoming Fall seasons. Listed below are the various divisions that are offered (with a brief definition).
Division 1: Advanced Comp – Usually age pure teams competing at the highest levels in the state and throughout the Western US.
Division 2: This division was folded into the Division 1 program many years ago at the state level.
Division 3: Developmental Comp – Offering an environment for dedicated and skilled players to develop and play. The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for players who have mastered basic soccer skills and are ready to take the next step to participate in a level of play above the recreational level.
Division 4: Recreational – teams are normally formed on the basis of geographical distribution and intended to be of equal strength.
Division 5: TOPSoccer – TOPSoccer is a community based soccer program that is designed to meet the needs of children aged 4 to 19 years with physical and/or mental disabilities.

Kaos Soccer
Unofficially founded in the mid-1990’s, the Kaos Soccer Club, is home to our Boys’ Division 1 and Division 3 teams. Formalized in 2006, the goal of the club is to foster consistent instruction, across the various age groups. Kaos members share knowledge and information amongst their own teams and with the recreational teams as well. Kaos branding on teams also helps with access to tournaments and with name recognition when teams travel. For more information contact our Division 3 coordinator at d3coord@reddingsoccer.com. Missfits FC
Founded in 1992, the Missfits Football Club, is home to our Girls’ Division 1 and Division 3 teams. The goal of the club is to foster consistent instruction, across the various age groups. Missfits members share knowledge and information amongst their own teams and with the recreational teams as well.
