Registration

RYSL has two main registration periods. January and February for the Spring Season and April & May for the Fall Season of play. We notify all members via direct mail, the website, email, newspaper and other media outlets of the upcoming registration events.

Fall 2010 Registration Status: Closed!

Registration for the Fall of 2010 is now closed. Please watch for Spring registration that will begin in January.

What’s needed to register a player?

You will need several items to register a player:

  • Registration form (see below)
  • 1×1-1/2″ Color photo of the player with their name written on the back
  • If you have not previously (starting with Fall 2007 registration) presented a copy of a government issued proof of age. This can be a county or city issue birth certificate, board of health record, passport, alien registration card issued by the United States Government; a certificate issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service attesting to age; a certification of an American citizen born abroad issued by the appropriate government agency; a current driver’s license; or a current identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles you will need to. Hospital, baptism, religious certificates, or immunization records will not be accepted.
  • Check or cash for the registration fees (see below)
  • Mail all items to: Redding Youth Soccer; Attn: Registrar; P.O. Box 991523; Redding, CA 96099-1523; INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE RETURNED AND ASSESSED AN ADDITIONAL HANDLING CHARGE.

Fall 2010/Spring 2011 Age Groups & Registration Fees

Under 6 Age Group: $35*

If your child is 5 years old or younger on August 1, 2010, he/she will be in the U6 age group. Child must turn 4 before the end of the season.

Under 8 Age Group: $55*

If your child is 7 years old or younger on August 1, 2010, he/she will be in the U8 age group.

Under 10 Age Group: $70*

If your child is 9 years old or younger on August 1, 2010, he/she will be in the U10 age group.

Under 12 Age Group: $80*

If your child is 11 years old or younger on August 1, 2010, he/she will be in the U12 age group.

Under 14 Age Group: $85*

If your child is 13 years old or younger on August 1, 2010, he/she will be in the U14  age group.

Under 16 Age Group: $90*

If your child is 15 years old or younger on August 1, 2010, he/she will be in the U16 age group.

Under 19 Age Group: $90*

If your child is 18 years old or younger on August 1, 2010, he/she will be in the U19 age group.
